Email.
Dashboard
Email is the default channel — every team member gets opted in unless you scope it down. Useful for low-frequency, high-importance digests like nightly risk-summary mails.
Setup.

Open Settings → Alerts
Click **Add channel → Email**.

Choose recipients
Pick from team members, enter shared aliases (`[email protected]`), or use a specific subset. Every team member is opted in by default.

Set the severity floor
Most teams floor email at `partial_outage` or higher and use Slack for the day-to-day chatter. The floor avoids inbox fatigue.
Configure in dashboard
When you've followed the steps above, open the settings page to wire it up.
